Best Friends Make the Best Big Brothers – Chapter Ten

Best Friends Make the Best Big Brothers – Chapter Ten.

With the buses loaded and everyone chattering away very excitedly about which ride they were going to ride first or which characters they really wanted to see, Trevor sat pretty quietly, pretending to be texting on his phone. In reality, he was trying to wrap his brain around what had happened that morning. I know he says that he just wants to help, Trevor thought, and I’m happy that he is, but is a pull-up really nesecary? I mean, I was going to try really hard to not have any accidents. I didn’t think I needed a pull-up. Why does Alex think I do? Does he think I’m just going to wet my pants all day like some sort of baby? NO, Don’t. Think. That. Alex said he doesn’t think you’re a baby, and he never lies to you. He just wants to make sure you have a good time today. You should be happy that he cares so much. If you had an accident today and didn’t have a pull-up on you wouldn’t be able to handle yourself and you know it. This at least will make it easier.

While Trevor dealt with this internal conflict, Alex and Paidion were busy texting each other.

Paidion: Dude, are you SURE that this was a good idea?
Alex: What do you mean?
Paidion: Do you really think he needs to be wearing one of those things today at the park?
Alex: I think that he is going to try to not have to use it, but I also think he is going to get distracted very easily here. It’s his first time here. He isn’t going to act his age, he is going to act like he is 5 or something, just like every other grown person who goes to Disney for the first time. I just want him to have a good time, and to keep his crying to a minimum if possible.
Paidion: He is going to cry anyway if he pees himself, you know that.
Alex: Yeah, but he won’t cry as much if all he has to do is change the pull-up, rather than all of his clothes.
Paidion: ok, I see your point. But YOU are dealing with the first accident.
Alex: What makes you think he even will? I told you he is going to try. Maybe he will surprise us both.

The bus eventually came to a stop at the transportation depot, and all the students began to pool out and get on the buses to go to different parks. Trevor, Alex and Paidion decided that Magic Kingdom was the place to go first. They hoped aboard the monorail and two short minutes later, they were there. The boys stepped off onto Main Street, and all of them suddenly became wide eyed children again.

Trevor couldn’t hold in hid excitement anymore, “THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! LOOK THERE’S CINDERELLA’S CASTLE, AND OVER THERE TOMORROWLAND, THAT’S WHERE SPACE MOUNTAIN IS! DO YOU THINK BUZZ LIGHTYEAR IS THERE? I WANT HIS AUTOGRAPH SOOOOOO BADLY!!!!!!!”

“Don’t use up all your energy before we even to anything man.”, Paidion said, “Now, what do you want to do first? Splash Mountain? Space Mountain? It’s A Small World?”

“Oh for god’s sake can we put off going on that moronic ride as long as possible please. That’s like the last thing I wanna be seen going on today”, Alex interjected.

Trevor tapped Alex on the shoulder, “Umm, can we go on the Buzz Lightyear ride first actually?”

Alex and Paidion laughed, “Yeah man, whatever you want,” Alex said, “we want your first time here to be a great one.”

As fast as their legs could take them, the boys ran around the castle into Tomorrowland and jumped into the line for the ride. Once on, the competition got intense. Alex and Trevor were in one cart, Paidion in the other – trying to spin his car, aim his gun, and shoot all at the same time. When the ride came to an end the boys all began comparing scores. Trevor and Alex’s scores were very close, but Paidion came out on top; turns out having artist’s fingers (and being ambidextrous) really helped. The end of the ride took them though a Star Command store where Trevor bought his first souvenir, an official Star Command Academy shirt. When they were finally able to leave, everyone was excited to see that Buzz Lightyear himself was outside the shop signing autographs. Trevor grabbed his autograph book out of his drawstring, and quickly got in line.

After taking what seemed to be a million selfies with the space ranger, the boys were finally on their way to other rides. They rode Tomorrowland Speedway (Alex won), Space Mountain (3 times), and finally made their way over to Fantasyland.

“Hey guys,” Paidion said, “the new roller coaster for Snow White opened yesterday. We should check it out!”

Trevor let out a quiet sigh, “Yeah that sounds fun. Let’s go”

The sigh didn’t go unnoticed. “Are you okay, Trev?” Alex said, “Do you need a break or something?”

“I’m good man. I just need a drink, I’m starting to get a little hot”. Trevor pulled a water bottle out of his bag and drank nearly the whole thing. “Ok I’m good now. Let’s get in line!”

The boys ran into the line. Completely missing the sign that said “Wait time: 120 minutes”.

Once inside the massive cavern that was the Seven Dwarves Mining Ride, the boys were face to rear with the longest line they had ever seen. They couldn’t even see the carts! The line was moving much faster than expected. After about 40 minutes, the front of the line was in sight. All three of the boys began to shake with anticipation and excitement, especially Trevor who seemed to be dancing around more than anybody. This excessive movement did not go unnoticed. Paidion tapped Trev on the shoulder, “Everything going okay man? You seem really fidgety.”

Trevor looked at his friend and smiled, “I’m fine dude. I’m just really really excited to ride the ride is all.” Trevor was trying so hard to be like all of his friends. The water he drank was starting to hit his bladder, which was already partially full due to his lack of using the toilet since right before they left the hotel that morning. He knew he could hold it for a while since he didn’t need to go that badly, but a while wasn’t as long as he would have liked it to be. He just had to hold out until they got off the ride and then he would force himself to use the restrooms at the park…hopefully. He wanted nothing more than to prove to Alex, Paidion, his mother, and himself most importantly that he was perfectly capable of getting through this trip without having any accidents. Wetting the bed he knew he couldn’t help, but while he was awake, he was in charge. The only thing stopping him from achieving this goal was his fear of restrooms and his sometimes very sudden emergencies…and the fact that he had to go right about now.

Alex and Paidion were not fooled by Trevor’s façade. They both knew it was only a matter of time before the water bottle Trevor drank was going to be a problem; but they hadn’t expected it to be so soon. They were quickly approaching the front of the line now. It would be a shame to jump out of line now only to go all the way back to the end. Trevor wasn’t dancing that badly or holding himself yet, so maybe he didn’t have to go that badly. Alex leaned in toward Trevor’s ear and brought his voice down very low, “Trev, we all know you gotta go. But we need you to think very very hard about this. If you cannot wait until after the ride tell us and we will step out of line. We will NOT be mad at you if that is the case. You getting to the toilet is more important than some silly ride.”

Trevor looked down, focusing strongly on how full his bladder felt. It felt fullish, not near bursting. He could definitely wait until after the ride. He looked back up to Alex, “I’ll be fine Al. Don’t worry so much.”

Alex nodded but inwardly rolled his eyes. God, he hoped Trevor would be fine.

The line had finally come to an end and the three friends were now sitting in a mine cart and being swept away on a magical journey through the Seven Dwarves diamond mine singing “hiegh ho” the entire way through. Once the ride was over the boys met all seven little men, received their autographs and travelled to the nearest rest area. Trevor quickly made his way inside excited to finally pee. He turned the corner to enter a stall to find that they were all taken! This left him with one option, the urinals.

Trevor let out a deep sigh and made his way over to the porcelain covered walls. He slowly unbuttoned his shorts and pushed his briefs covering his pull-up out of the way and then pushed the pull-up as well. He aimed and…nothing. He tried to force it out, again nothing. He couldn’t go. He tried and tried but his fear of public restrooms was getting the best of him.

How could someone not have left a stall yet, he thought to himself, if one would just open up I could go inside and go. Al and Pai are waiting for me. If I don’t go and get out of here soon they are going to come in and check up on me. I know they will. If they see I haven’t gone yet they are gonna be mad at me. At the thought of his friends getting upset with him, Trevor pulled his pants back into place and started to walk over to the sinks. He knew he had to go and it wasn’t going to happen in any of these toilets. Trevor looked down in defeat, there were only two ways he was going to be able to pee; either somebody had to come out of the stall, or he was going to wet himself.
